Anyone close to me would be able to tell you that my life runs at 100 mph 99% of the time. I have a lot of excess energy and like to keep myself busy; once I finish one project, I move on to the next.
That said, I often forget to refill my glass and neglect to make time for play. On top of that, I lean on the side of introversion- if I can stay home, I will.
But yesterday, I ventured into the world of socialization (crazy, right?) and am so grateful for the energy that was brought into the space. I was invited by the lovely Amber, who originally found me through Instagram, to attend the first (hopefully of many) meet-up at Free Spirited Farms.
The idea was simple and beautiful; a space for like-minded individuals and positive souls to share talents, knowledge, and skills in a
positive, encouraging environment. Five
other magical “artletes” were there, and I had the opportunity to learn skills from each of them- trapeze, rings, slackline, yoga wheel, hooping, and more! I added to the fun by sharing my knowledge of acro, gymnastics, inversions, and yoga. 😀
It was inspiring and revitalizing to share in the magic! Though my body definitely felt the effects of the play and was in need of some nourishment by the end of the day (btw, they had lots of snacks and hydration as well!) my inner light, which has been flickering for a short while, was reignited yesterday. My heart feels light knowing that I was able to witness the magic and meet such wonderful humans.
I am looking forward to the next meet-up and will continue blogging about my adventures! Until then, stay tuned and stay light!
Bless up. ❤
